GRANT SCHEME FOR THE ENCOURAGEMENT OF ENERGY UPGRADING BY LOCAL AUTHORITIES AND WIDER PUBLIC SECTOR ORGANISATIONS

The Grant Scheme (available only in Greek) aims to provide financial incentives to encourage the implementation of energy upgrading investments by local authorities and semi-governmental organisations. The Scheme aims, in particular, to upgrade the existing building infrastructure of public entities and contribute to the achievement of national RES and energy savings obligations.

SUBMISSION OF PROPOSALS FOR THE GRANT SCHEME HAS NOT YET STARTED

	GRANT … 100% of the eligible costs (excluding VAT)

	BENEFICIARIES… Local Authorities Local Authority clusters Semi-governmental organisations Entities involved in economic activities and/or investments in infrastructure used in the exercise of an economic activity are excluded from the beneficiaries.

	GRANT/PROPOSAL LIMITS … Maximum grant: €700.000 Minimum proposal cost: €10.000 (amounts indicated are net of VAT)

	BUDGET … €20.000.000 (includes the amount that has been committed under the 1st call of the Scheme) Funded by the European Union - NextGenerationEU

	PROPOSAL CONTENT … Each potential beneficiary shall submit only one Proposal. The Proposal may include investments in one or more buildings and/or other infrastructure. For each building/other infrastructure, a combination of eligible RES and energy saving investments may be proposed. For each building, transformation into a Nearly Zero Energy Building must be achieved. Primary energy savings of at least 30% should be achieved for any other infrastructure.

Each Proposal submitted shall include investments in one or more buildings and/or other infrastructure. For each building and for any other infrastructure the implementation of a combination of investments from those listed below may be proposed:
