The Support Schemes are the main financial measure for achieving the renewable energy and energy conservation national targets. In addition, they aim at improving the energy efficiency of old buildings, the quality of citizens’ life and, also, at reducing energy cost.
On the basis of the Support Schemes, financial incentives are provided in the form of subsidy or state grants to both individuals and businesses for investments in the field of RES and EC.
The Support Schemes operated by the Fund are issued by the Council of Ministers, after the proposal of the Minister of Energy, Commerce and Industry. The Schemes operate in compliance with the provisions of the State Aid Control Law.
